Gurudev (Dave) Allin has been practicing law since he graduated magna cum laude from Albany Law School in 2009.  He was ranked fifth in a class of two hundred students.  Mr. Allin's practice includes commercial and tort litigation, alternative dispute resolution and product liability litigation, as well as professional liability defense.  Mr. Allin has also volunteered to be an arbitrator for the State of Hawaii First Circuit Court's Court Annexed Arbitration Program ("CAAP").

Before joining Fukunaga Matayoshi Ching & Kon-Hererra, LLP in 2014, Mr. Allin practiced in New York State with focus on health law for nursing homes and physician contracts.  He also had a focus on real estate transactions, copyright licensing agreements and miscellaneous civil litigation including collections matters.  Mr. Allin served as a staff attorney for the nationally recognized law firm of Boies Schiller and Flexner, LLP.  In 2008, Mr. Allin was a judicial intern for the Honorable Lawrence E. Kahn in the U.S. District Court, Northern District of New York.  He also served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Richard K. Eaton of the U.S. Court of International Trade in New York City.

In Law school, Mr. Allin was a senior editor for the Albany Law Review, worked as a teacher's assistant, teaching first year law students civil procedure and applied legal reasoning.  He also participated in the Jessup International Moot Court Competition in New York.  Mr. Allin has avocational interest in astronomy, archaeology and philosophy.
